Just giving you and update so you know how Laurie is doing! We just finished racing in our 3rd gymkhana this weekend and are already placing in the top racing brackets! We even started carrying the American flag at the start of the day. Every race we go to more and more people compliment me on how I have the best looking horse there. She has turned a VERY dary golden color and looks AMAZING. She is excelling in poles and barrels and we have even beat our trainer in a few races. We have been practicing and training for barrels and will be racing our first barrel race in July and hope to go to get invited to race in an event in northern California later this year, and hopefully Vegas next summer. Everyone is just blown away with what a wonderful horse she is and how well she quickly started doing in our gymkhanas. Its gotten to the point where people are fighting over who
gets to ride her when I can't!

Just when we think we can't be any more impressed with her she does something else to show us how amazing she is. Our trainer calls her the over-achiever, and she has become good friends with a silly gelding named Sixx. Even the other horses can't keep away from her! All the little kids love her (and a few ride her) because they say she looks like Barbie's dream horse (her racing colors are pink :) )
