Scamp is another home-grown horse: bred, raised and trained! His dam was a nice minded mare, very gentle disposition, with a big hip and nice head. All her colts had great dispositions and very smart and trainable. Scamp's sire was a quiet stallion and a gentleman when being rode with other horses. He was a natural lead changer and had a great stop. Take a look at Scamp's full sister - sold here in March of 2007!

Scamp has a million dollars worth of time in training and a genetic gentleness second to none!  He is sensible and quiet and has been exposed to ropes all around his body, tarps, slicker up or down on his back. He never gets bothered by a noisy lunch being eaten when ridden and even packs his owner's Jack Russell along on rides. He is very trainable, a horse that remembers what he has been taught, and wants to please. He hates to be in trouble, he loves people is good to catch anywhere. He's been ridden many miles in the backconutry on pack trips pulling a pack string or packing him in a string. He packs anything and everything you put on him with out blinking.  He crosses water, bridges, downfall, rough terrain and will ride good in the lead or in the string. Scamp gets along good with other geldings & mules, he has a good walk and rides as smooth as a caddy in a lope. He naturally wants to pick up the correct leads and stays between legs and reins. He side passes, half passes, backs, stops, opens & closes gates, ties quiet whether to the trailer or a highline in the mountains. He hobbles, has been layed down several times, and is not afraid to ride off by himself. He stands quiet to mount and will lead up to a fence or anything to mount. He never blows up when a rope gets sucked under his tail, he knows the word whoa and responds, he loads, hauls quiet, stands tied, shoes easy, clips, baths, good to worm and give shots, loves his grain in a nose bag, has good thick walled black feet. Best of all he is great to look at with his golden palomino color, his big hip and gaskin, his good withers and legs that all point the correct direction. You will fall in love with this horse! Scamp is very unique and is offered to qualifed buyers only!
